Hi!

My name is Carla Hinde, and I have been a Speech Language Pathologist since 2007. Strategic SLP Services LLC has been a growing idea of mine for the last ten years and I’m really glad to finally be able to offer my services to you in this way. Private practice allows me to provide the amount of time needed for each person’s specific needs and involve family and caregivers so that what happens in the office can continue at home and in other environments.

My goal as an SLP is to help my clients and their families who are dealing with communication and cognitive challenges to identify key needs, understand better the nature and impact of deficits, and make a plan for new learning using research-based strategies and techniques that work, to create the opportunities required so that new skills can grow.

I believe the ability to communication thoughts and ideas so that we can be understood by others is one of the most crucial parts of our humanity. The joy of my work is seeing others grow in their ability as communicators, so that they can understand and be understood and experience the enjoyment of all the functions of communication in our world.
